In 2009, a group of doctors and a pharmacist joined together with a shared goal of building the first state of the art healthcare facility that will be able to cater to almost all medical needs of the people in Batangas City and neighboring towns. In January of 2010, the First United 23 was duly approved and issued a certificate of incorporation.

Motivated by passion and the commitment to pursue their dream, the founders began to look for investors to raise funds for the construction of the hospital. At that time, it was a challenge to look for shareholders because the country’s gloomy economic condition; however, the founders worked relentlessly and were able to invite additional investors who shared their dream.

On November 4, 2013, the United Doctors of St. Camillus de Lellis Hospital formally opened its doors to the public. The event was a testament of the founders vision to provide innovative and excellent healthcare along with years of hard work required to achieve their goal.
